This summer, we’re excited to introduce two important members of our Holy Hog Team: Matthew Strickland and Maria Muñoz.
Native Floridian, Matthew Strickland, is a passionate business operator currently executing the Holy Hog Barbecue concept in the Tampa Market. Since his first job in a Miami Sub shop at just 14, Matt has been perfecting the ins and outs of running a business. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida in 2008 and has since gained much experience in operations and development. His success with major businesses is clear from his past work with Miller’s AleHouse and World of Beer. He looks forward to growing with Holy Hog Barbecue as they spread HOG culture throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Maria Muñoz currently serves as our Catering Director. She has spent her whole life surrounded by food—from her grandmother’s kitchen all the way to Holy Hog BBQ. After two decades in Miami, Maria has recently returned to Tampa, and we’re grateful to have her on our team. When she’s not cooking or catering, she loves spending time with her daughter Genevie and son Gabriel. Maria is excited to continue serving and growing Hog Nation!
